MARCEL PROUST was a French writer who believed that people must know and understand themselves before they could know or understand others. He developed a list of subjective questions that he felt would help reveal to people their true selves and the inner personalities of those around them.

Which is why we think this will be a great way to get to know your character. Even if he or she is an old timer with the Dream, there must have been some changes and evolutions in the characters that not everybody witnessed. Now would be a good time to let us know of these changes or to flesh out a part of your character you'd never thought of before!

But that is not all, and this is no mere interview--- respond to the questions in any manner you choose, briefly or at length, from your character's point of view, and give us a real taste of his or her personality. Good posts will be rewarded with an Avatar Interview Caption, an artistic rendering of your character in the process of the interview, which you will be able to append to your signature or use anywhere you wish!

So let's begin, shall we? Your character has been selected to be interviewed by a prominent journalist-- any setting is fine, either in Alef or another world/dimension entirely-- you can roleplay your character's entrance and the beginning of the interview, or jump right to answering the questions--- different strokes for different folks.
